Saving Pollinators One Garden at a Time

Bees, butterflies and other pollinators are on the decline worldwide, but you can make a difference for them right in your own garden.  Join National Wildlife Federation naturalist and NatGeo WILD host David Mizejewski for a fun and informative talk on how to plant a beautiful garden that also helps declining pollinators.

David will introduce some of the pollinators that call the Chicago region home, from bees to butterflies to hummingbirds. He’s cover some the reasons behind the declines in pollinators and then give step by step instructions on how to make your own garden or landscape pollinator-friendly.

David will show you how you can have your garden recognized as an official “Certified Wildlife Habitat” and be counted in the national Million Pollinator Garden Challenge..
